a month has passed!
chinese new year'll be here
in no time and then our results
would be out. no more holidays,
relaxing,shopping whenever i feel like.
well,almost whenever i feel like.
my msn still isnt working!
this sucks.this totally sucks.

to go walk round town after staying

i sat around reading J-STAR MAG sandy bought!

shop to ask for job.but store managers
for most of them were not in.

im quite tired of looking for a job actually.
results are coming out soon anyway.

i miss the good times i had in school.sigh.
[hem. saw a cute white shoe w that big buckle on
the front at charles and keith. 34bucks!haha]
slept w my hair turled tog hoping it'll be curly this morn
when i wake up and look like it was permed, but when
i woke up in the afternoon, it looked more messy than permed!
hahaha. then 10mins later, it became straight again.
my clothes smells different.
my mom must have used a diff detergent.haha.
they smell nicer (:
weathers getting so hot nowadays.
sigh. CHUN TIAN zhen de yao dao le.
ooh! photoshop finished downloading!

ive gotta figure out how to use it.

im SO bored! again.
for the thousandth time.
ah! sigh.
nothing much to blog about also lei.
went out on fri though.
met peili and jane at chapter2
where they cut their hair.
jane changed hairstyle and she
just kept asking everyone whether
her hair was alright.
peili;s hair..NO DIFF!
haha. its almost exactly the same.
then off to somerset to meet huileng
and shiying at crown prince swensens.
yep,cheryn's workplace.

to marina bay to have steamboat!

peili's jc badminton gathering became
our class gathering cos one by one,

today is a special day.

and the very first issue of j-star mag
comes out today.
:)
went shopping in chinatown w my parents again.
ate loads for these 2 days.
if i continue like this, i'd put on more
weight! and that'll slow me down
from catching up w peili's 48kg!!
hahaha ;) jk.
saw this pair of shoes which
were really cute at,um.
if i didnt get the name of
the place wrong,far east square.
some where near raffles place mrt.
its from japan:)
they're white and cost 60bucks!
sigh. i WILL go back and get it.
when i get $$ la. :P
not sure why, but all the memories from
the past has been appearing in my mind
everytime i havent got anything to do.
like waiting for the bus
or taking that long bus ride frm

CRASHED SRJC ! twice.
muahaha.
aiya. nothing much la.mei shen me da bu liao.really boring infact.
havent got to go for any lectures!! urgh.
why? cos i cant attend any lectures w/o the others.
wun know if i'd get caught or even, where the lectures will be held.
and peili and gang didnt want to attend all their lectures.
almost every single subject was labelled as boring.
anyway.serene would be w me the next time i go there.
but seriously, srjc, not very nice la. was blog surfing and found
that some ppl really wants to go there.tsktsk.
the library's pretty alright though. could use the com there like
nobody's business. peili used it the whole time just to play
her online pool AS USUAL. and so, i took the chance to take
a very nice nap in the aircon-ed srjc library.
hate ppl who compain too much. its SO irritating.
and i dun mean all who complain, just those who goes on and
on bout how this jc shes in sucks so bad when that jc is actually

Her hair was up in a pony tail, her favorite dress tied with a bow.
Today was "Daddy's Day" at school, and she couldn't wait to go.
But her mommy tried to tell her, that she probably should stay home.
Why the kids might not understand, if she went to school alone.
But she was not afraid; she knew just what to say.
What to tell her classmates of why he wasn't there today.
But still her mother worried, for her to face this day alone.
And that was why once again, she tried to keep her daughter home.
But the little girl went to school eager to tell them all.
Of a dad whos never there a dad who never calls.
There were daddies along the wall in back, for everyone to meet.
Children squirming impatiently, anxious in their seats.
one by one the teacher called a student from the class.
To introduce their daddy, as seconds slowly passed.
At last the teacher called her name, every child turned to stare.
each of them was searching, for a man who wasn't there.
"Where's her daddy at?!" she heard a boy call out.
"She probably doesn't have one," another student dared to shout.
And from somewhere near the back,
She heard another father say, "Looks like another deadbeat dad, too busy to waste his day."
The words did not offend her, as she smiled up at her Mom.
and looked back at her teacher, who told her to go on.
And with hands behind her back, Slowly she began to speak
And out from the mouth of a child, came words incredibly unique.
"My Daddy couldn't be here, because he lives so far away.
But I know he wishes he could be, Since this is such a special day
And though you cannot meet him, I wanted you to know.
All about my daddy and how much he loves me so.
He loved to tell me stories he taught me to ride my bike.
He surprised me with pink roses, and taught me to fly a kite.
We used to share fudge sundaes, and ice cream in a cone.
And though you cannot see him. I'm not standing here alone.
"Cause my daddy's always with me, even though we are apart
I know because he told me, he'll forever be in my heart"
With that, her little hand reached up, and lay across her chest.
Feeling her own heartbeat, beneath her favorite dress.
And from somewhere in the crowd of dads, her mother stood in tears.
Proudly watching her daughter, who was wise beyond her years.
And when she dropped her hand back down, staring straight into the crowd.
She finished with a voice so soft, but its message clear and loud.
"I love my daddy very much, he's my shining star.
And if he could, he'd be here, but heaven's just too far
You see he was a fireman and died just this past year
When airplanes hit the towers and taught Americans to fear.
But sometimes when I close my eyes, it's like he never went away."
And then she closed her eyes, and saw him there that day.
And to her mother's amazement, she witnessed with surprise.
A room full of daddies and children, all starting to close their eyes.
Who knows what they saw before them,
Who knows what they felt inside
Perhaps for merely a second, they saw him at her side.
"I know you're with me Daddy," to the silence she called out.
And what happened next made believers, of those once filled with doubt.
Not one in that room could explain it, for each of their eyes had been closed..
But there on the desk beside her, was a fragrant long-stemmed pink rose.

i hate my job.
it sucks.
not cos i have to stand round for 4hours long and have to clean up after baby customers who, either have a hole in their mouths or just cant seem to eat properly.
no. i am incharged or cashier work.

NO! ive got to prepare the soup, garlic bread, baked pasta [ocean baked and country baked], baked rice, lagsane(spell?),and the drinks[which includes every single beverage available in pastamania].
think your job sucks? think again. mine is worst. ive got to memorise the entire menu so that i'd be able to know which pasta\pizza\desert\salad is which when some fella comes in and trys to be funny by pointing at the menu and says: i want this, this and that.
and wait, thats not all {this line's from some advertisement right? hah.} you'll get ticked off for not serving the drinks or soup first before collecting the money, letting the customer wait or not greeting the big fat DUA BAIs when they come in.
im not super woman k, some ppl might be able to do so many things all by themselves and remember all the procedures and all, but i cant, sorry la. my fault ah. i stupid la.
its my first day as cashier for the entire shift loh.
forgot the count the float first before i start.
end of the day, got shortage.
my fault! walao. wad if the last person before me nv count the float correctly??
so i had to pay the shortage amount la.
and i remembered very well that i didnt count the money wrongly!
counted twice before giving the change to the customers.
so how was it possible to have a shortage?
asking me?how the eff would i know.
argh.
anyway.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
recap!
wenta meet peili and shumin for pool friday afternoon (new years eve), but i didnt play a single game. just watched. haha. im so not in a pool mood nowadays...toh houw was there too.
met jane, waited for the bus to bishan w her and she almost stripped me! geez. haha. went ta town w peili and fiq, cut the long queue outside and sneaked into swensens. found cheryn! lil girl in her black uniform. shoo cute! haha. yep, theres still her lil pony tail sticking outa the back of her hat.haha.
next stop, buy nail polish at cine! haha. i bought the blue metalic one! damn funky la. but everyone couldnt appreciate it. had all the same responses from ppl saying its either scary looking or eww? haha. so now i have 2 new colours of nail polish. blue and coral white.

met qilin serene and yunting. all four of us had the same pants! serene and i have the same black ones and qilin and yunting had the khaki green. cool.haha.
bought ear rings w qilin and majong session AGAIN at winnie's. haha. but this time it didnt last very long. everyone slept so early.but i stayed up to watched this vampire movie. interesting, but there was another vampire movie right after that! channel5 just fell in love w vampires? tsktsk. watched all the blood-suckers go round killing ppl and animals,biting their neck off, blood gushing out, slattering everywhere.oh man, i lost my appetite, completely! helped to wash all the dishes we used for our instant noodles since everybody else was asleep already and the kitchen sink was so messy! ended up sleeping on the sofa cos there werent anymore space in the room.

the first day of 2005, i did the nicest thing ive done in the year. hah! i havent even been through the year yet :\ ohwell, i did 2 things, washed so many dishes for winnie and shared a present w qilin for the love birds (hj&w)! (: hope they really really like it.
read qilin's blog. filled w loads of memories. had flash backs while i was reading it. kinda missed school la. the better parts of sch. and now that some staff from sch is alr leaving or have alr left, beatty shouldnt be that bad huh? terence tans the head of subject too :)
havent thought up a new years resolution yet...
off to prepare for work tonight :)
